Privacy Policy
Effective October 3, 2026
Who we are
Sedra: Baby's First 100 Foods ("Sedra", "the app") is made by Mohamed Elwan, an independent developer. In this policy, "we" means the developer of Sedra.
What you store in the app
To use Sedra, you can enter:
- your baby's name, birthday and an optional profile photo
- the foods your baby has tried, the date, their reaction and your notes
- optional photos of meals, taken with the camera or chosen from your photo library
All of this is stored only inside the app on your device. Sedra does not send it to us or to any server, and we cannot see it.
What we collect
Nothing. Sedra does not connect to the internet, and it has no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or other third-party services.
Camera and photos
Sedra asks for camera access only when you choose to take a photo. When you add a photo from your library, iOS lets you pick specific photos, so Sedra never gets access to the rest of your library. Photos you add are stored privately inside the app.
Backups
If you use iCloud Backup or back up your device to a computer, iOS may include Sedra's data in that backup, as it does for other apps. Those backups are controlled by Apple and you, not by us.
Exporting and deleting your data
You are in control of your data. In Sedra's Settings you can:
- Export data: save your foods, reactions and notes as a file and share it however you choose
- Delete all data: permanently remove your baby's profile and every food memory from the app
Deleting the app also removes all of its data from your device.
Children's privacy
Sedra is made for parents and caregivers, not for children to use. Information about your baby stays on your device and is never collected by us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above. If Sedra ever starts collecting data, we will update the policy before that happens.
